Urban Animators, are you ready to make your mark? Expressions of interest for the NAS Urban Animators Public Art Program close today!
A rare opportunity has arisen for students, staff and alumni to showcase their artwork on prominent public canvases as a part of the Living Laboratory Public Art Initiative (a part of the New Academic Street (NAS) project).
Extensive work has commenced across the City and Bundoora campuses to prepare for the New Academic Street project, which will transform the heart of the city campus and deliver upgraded student services and facilities. With main construction activity expected to start soon, the New Academic Street Project Office in collaboration with the School of Art developed an exciting initiative: Urban Animators: Living Laboratory.
The initiative will commission original artwork from RMIT students, staff or alumni, which will be integrated into the construction hoardings and digitally projected onto the outside of Buildings 10 and 12.
I encourage you to hop to it and register an Expression of Interest by today, Friday June 5, 2015.
